What is the age group for your curriculum?
Our monthly programs have been designed for children ages 3 to 5. However, many of our providers report success presenting the material to "older" two year olds. 

What is included in these programs?

Are all of the materials for the art/craft projects included?
Yes. We include the craft material for the projects each month for the number of children ordered. We ask you to supply the basic items such as paint, glue, scissors, crayons, and markers. A list of any additional items needed, is provided in your program. Generally, these include things such as snack items, paper rolls, and play props.

How much cutting is involved?
There is cutting involved with our programs.  We believe the practice of using scissors is important for children! Cutting is a fine motor skill that requires time and practice to develop. When designing the programs we have been careful to ensure the cutting that the children will be doing is appropriate and without difficulty. However, there are some situations that you will need to assist the children.

Do I get instructions?
Yes! Each program includes a Teacher’s Pack which contains daily instructions, calendar displays, colored flash cards, and a puppet. Program orders for 20 or more children contain an additional Teacher’s Pack and puppet, at no additional cost.

What is a teacher pack?
The teacher pack contains the monthly curriculum instructions, calendar displays, and color flash cards. Each monthly program contains a teacher pack. Program orders of 20 children and more, contain an additional teacher's pack and puppet, at no additional cost. If additional teacher packs are needed, they can be purchased for $10.00.

Does the program repeat itself every year?
No! The Star-Brite Learning program is based on a three-year rotation. We understand the need to continue to keep our material fresh with innovative ideas and activities.  Therefore, we continue to change the programs to ensure the children are learning and having fun. 

What is the Auto Delivery Club?
The auto delivery club is a simple way to pre-order your program. To join our auto delivery club, simply provide us with your credit card information, the number of children you wish to order, and how many months you wish to receive the program. It's that simple. There are no long term obligations. We will process your order on a month-to-month basis, around the beginning of the previous month. You may stop at any time. If you need to change your order, please call us by the 5th of the each month before we ship your program. All you need to do is call us on our toll free number, 1-888-858-2954. 

What are the advantages of joining our auto delivery club:
1. You are guaranteed a program (supplies are limited).
2. Your program is shipped to you as soon as possible.
3. You don't have to worry about sending us a check, or calling to place your order. We know you are busy running your daycare.

How soon will I receive my program, once I order?
Once we start shipping a month's program (generally around the 9th of the month), we usually will ship your program within 24 hours from your order. Once your program has been shipped, it generally takes 3 to 5 working days for UPS to deliver your package. Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, and 3-Day Select services are available from UPS for an additional charge. Please call our office for these shipping rates. 

Who wrote and developed the program?
The program has been written by a number of different educators over the past seven years. All of these individuals have been teaching in the public school systems for many years. Because of confidentiality concerns, these names cannot be released. Our current curriculum developer, has a master degree and seven years experience in developing preschool curriculum. Our program manager has been involved with early education for over 20 years.  Both individuals are careful to maintain their education and training in order to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

How many years has Star-Brite been in business?
Star-Brite Learning Program has been providing educational programs to providers since 1995.

Why don't you include a music tape?
We provide a circle time song/rhyme sheet in your program each month. This is in addition to the songs and rhymes that are part of the daily activities. We believe that as a provider, you can purchase music CD's, or tapes, at a cost more competitive than us. It is important to have a variety of different music for the children to interact with and listen to. 

Can I purchase extra puppets, flash cards, or Wendy Weather?
Yes. Although these items are included in your program, additional items can be purchased. Just call to toll free at 1-888-858-2954 for current pricing.

How do I place an order?
You may place your order by mail, phone, or online using our e-mail ordering system. Order forms are provided with each program. If paying by check, we ask that you complete an order form and mail it in with your check. Click here for an order form.

What happens if I am missing something or my package is damaged?
At Star-Brite we work on maintaining the highest standards of quality. To ensure you receive all the material you need, we ask that you review  your program as soon as you receive it. If your program has been damaged or you are missing something, please contact our office immediately at 1-888-858-2954.  If you are missing something, we need to know as soon as possible, so we can send you the material you need.
